Brilliant, deep, fleshy ruby-red with a powerful nose of black fruits, Morello cherry, and cherry-pit. Velvety complex aromas, developing notes of animal and spice with aging.
In the mouth there is a real substance, a silky, smooth wine highlighting small fruits, with a slightly salty finish. Fleshiness partly conceals the tannins which give way with maturity to a concentrated, taste-filled structure, intriguing in its complexity.
