Deep ruby in color. Still young, it requires a good swirl to open the distinct foresty flavors and crispness of the fruit. Age brings notes of underbrush and spicy tobacco. Rich and chewy in the mouth becoming attractively rounded and meaty with age. A vintage that has retained its tannins and will continue to mature over the next 2 years.
